不学而求知,犹愿鱼而无网。在学期伊始,双语部小学的老师们已经就PYP加强版文件进行了深入学习和交流,受益颇多。为了再次加深教师的综合能力和专业素养,921日和22日,双语部小学特邀北京京西学校中文负责人——何实老师来校进行为期两天的PYP校内培训。

培训官何实老师现就职于北京京西学校,任中文负责人。毕业于宾州印第安纳大学教育系,曾任PYP教学领导多年并主持了IB PYP课程组与中国课程标准融合项目。曾作为中国地区代表参与在海牙举行的IB PYP课程第一阶段改革论坛。同时,何老师负责IB PYP培训和IB资质认证。由于对教育的热爱和追求,现回到教学一线,致力于语言课程开发与探究式语言教学的研究。

在全体老师的热烈欢迎下,何老师开始了为期两天的培训。首先,何老师通过“人体宾果”的活动进行破冰,让老师们从各个方面更加了解自己的同事,进而知道在课堂上如何去更好了解自己的学生。在何老师的指引下,老师们围绕培养者目标制定了相应的核心契约,并展开了热烈的讨论和交流。随着培训的深入,老师们对文件的理解也越来越深刻。

针对超学科主题,何老师也进行了相应的分析,老师们更深刻地了解到在确定探究单元的内容时要遵照知识的重要性、趣味性、相关性和挑战性,从而让学生对所学知识有一个持久性的理解。同时,何老师对PYP协作备课也分享了她多年总结的宝贵经验,通过“思考—提问—探索”的方式将整个课堂的中心、目标和ATL串联起来,使课堂变得流畅完整。

最后,何老师给老师们分享了一系列可行的探究活动和探究技巧。老师们转变角色为学生,捏橡皮泥、表演哑剧、吹泡泡,在做中学,在学中做,亲身体验到了PYP课堂的魅力。老师们纷纷表示这样的培训收获到了太多的“干货”,同时,双语部老师们积极探究、勤于思考、善于交流、勇于尝试的风貌也给何实老师留下了良好的印象。在这样浓厚的学习环境中,老师们更加笃信PYP教育理念,满载着信心和希望继续行走在明媚的教学实践之路上!
